Pandemic Safety

What To Expect:
Touring

What To Expect:
Move-In

Suite Selection

We welcome serious prospects to our community when you are ready to select your suite. The community visit will look a little different than it did a few months ago. Be sure to prepare your questions in advance so we can maximize our time together. Here’s what to expect: Schedule a time for your suite selection with the Site Leader.  We are unable to
accommodate drop-ins at this time.

  1. When you arrive, a member of our team will take you through the screening process outside the building.
  2. After you sanitize your hands, you will be provided a medical grade mask to wear while you are inside the building.
  3. We will then take you to the suite using the shortest route through the building. In order to minimize risk, touring of common areas is not possible.

Pandemic Safety

Safety is a top priority to us at Park Place Seniors Living. We employ a full time Quality Team of Clinicians who review every Public Health order as they are released. They then work with our management teams to develop education and training for our employees to ensure high quality practices such as:

o  High touch area cleaning
o   Screening of all staff to building through single entry point
o   Physically distanced meal service and recreation activities
o   Sufficient supply of masks, goggles, and gowns as required
o   Regular audits

Moving In

Once you’ve made the decision to move-in, the following are safety precautions to keep both you and your neighbours as safe as possible.

  1. We will work with you to arrange your move-in time to be as safe and quick as possible. Any family or movers will be thoroughly screened and provided with masks before entering the building to assist with your move.
  2. 14 Days of Full Service begins the day you move in. We will arrange for all services including grocery delivery, room service, and technology set-up so you can comfortably remain in your suite as much as possible for the self -isolation period.
  3. We will connect you with fellow residents during this time if you would like. We will also customize activities during this time based on your interests.
  4. After 14 days, you are free to move throughout the building and join in any physically distanced recreational activities on the calendar.
  5. Dining Room service is available after your first 14 days. Special arrangements need to be made since we are operating at a reduced capacity to meet distancing standards.
